Loan Calculator     Eligibility   To apply for a loan you must: Be a member of the Healthcare Employees FCU for 30 days Be employed with your current employer for at least one year. VISA Credit Cards require three years employment. Certain fees apply to denied applications.       Loan Application A loan application must be completed in full by the member and must be forwarded (via fax or mail) to the credit union office along with two most recent paystubs and a purchase order (if applicable). All loans will be reviewed on a daily basis. Every effort will be made to notify members of action in a timely manner. Most loans are acted on within 24 hours.     Applications are available at your Human Resources department, by calling our office or online.       Criteria for Granting Loans: You have the capacity to repay the loan within the terms of the agreement. Your past/present credit record is deemed satisfactory as a result of information obtained from credit references and/or credit reporting agencies. You are of responsible character and can demonstrate stability of employment, residence, etc.     Types of Loans Unsecured Fully share-secured New car Used car VISA credit card Home equity First mortgages     Monthly Payment Options: Payroll deduction (except VISA and First Mortgages) Direct Deposit Coupon Book  Loan limits cannot exceed the stated maximums for the type of loans available. Interest rates will vary according to the type of loan. The interest rate/annual percentage rate is subject to change as determined by the Board of Directors. Members may pay off a loan in advance at any time without penalty.     Insurance Options: Credit Life Provides for paying the remaining balance of your loan in the event of your death. This insurance will ease the burden on your beneficiary or family. Credit Disability Provides for paying your loan monthly while you are disabled.
